The Marx Library was established in 1933 with the object of ‘the advancement of education, learning and knowledge … relating to all aspects of the science of Marxism and of the history of socialism and the working class movement’. The resumption of evening classes is among a number of initiatives marking the Library’s 80th anniversary.
