Women are on the front line of austerity policies – both in feeling the impact and fighting back.On 22 February a Women’s Assembly Against Austerity will take place Conway Hall, London.

In the meantime book your place at the conference here.

The purpose of the Women’s Assembly Against Austerity is to give voice to the impact that policies of austerity and privatisation are having on women in particular, and ensure that women are at the front and centre in a movement against austerity.

A letter supporting the event has been published in the Guardian signed by women active in the trade union movement, in politics, entertainment, and campaigns for peace, equality and defending services.

The letter is live on the website, and all women who oppose austerity are invited to sign it and come to the Womens Assembly Against Austerity on 22 February.

Alternatively you can book your place at the conference here right now, first come first served.
